England Vs Pakistan

ICC Champions Trophy 2006 proper gets under way this weekend with the hosts playing England which will be an interesting match. I really don't understand how England have such a great test team but in the one days they struggle badly. England do seem to be on the right track after coming from two down against Pakistan to get a draw with winning the last two matches. If I had to put mioney on this i am afraid to say it will be on the home nation.

Austriallia are the favourites to win this tournament at odds of 9/4 with the Indians at 4/1 followed by Pakistan at 5/1 while England are joint last least favourites at 14/1 and even for the many Brits amongst us it would be daft to bet on them giving how poor they are at one day cricket.

Round 1 update Just as any big sporting event there are shocks and great matches and so far after 4 matches of the main tournament there is. The shock was being the Australia defeat to the West Indies by 10 runs then the match of the tournament was the Pakistan Vs Sri Lanka where all game it looked like the holders of ICC Champions Trophy Sri Lanka where going to win but the Pakistan middle order once againg pulled themselves out of a rut and won the game with just eleven balls left.
