Raceclubs - Virtual Horse Racing

The first thing you need to do when you join raceclubs is to get a Horse. You can either buy one from the sales ring or bid for one in the online auction room. A horse will cost you £8.38 in the sales ring, or you can place a minimum bid of £8.40 on a horse in Auction. Stabling fees start from £3.76 per month and reduces to £0.00 depending on how many times a horse is raced. You will receive a £0.63 DISCOUNT on the stabling fee every time you race your horse, up to a maximum saving of £3.76.

When you purchase you horse you need to decide on :

A name for the horse
Horse Colour
The Age of the Horse
The Sex of the Horse
Whether to pay the upfornt supplementary fee of £2.56 ( This gives your horse access to qualifing races.)

Each Horse will have 2 races at 90+ fitness to determine the grading of that horse. A racing season lasts 4 calander months and a horses racing lifespan is considered to be 28 months or 7 years.

Once the horse has been picked the jockeys colours are the next thing. Select the colour scheme you wish.

Training is one of the most important parts of the racing game. It should be used wisely to:

To assess what your horse's innate characteristics and racing ability is over different track surfaces, distances and conditions;
To assess which products enhance your horse's performance, and
To get your horse to a competitive fitness level.

Training and Time Trials will give a good indication of what distance, conditions and tracks your horse favours. You can increase your horses fitness with vitimins supplements and other workouts.

Once you have your horse read it is time for the most important event - the race. Select the race you want to enter and keep your fingers crossed.

Race clubs provide the ultimate challenge in virtual race horse ownership, can you succed??
